Hearing on the charge sheet filed against Manish Sisodia will be held today, for the first time ED has told ‘mastermind’

Delhi News: ED’s fifth charge sheet in the Delhi liquor scam case will be heard in Rouse Avenue Court on Wednesday. Explain that in the new charge sheet, the Enforcement Directorate has for the first time considered former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia as the main conspirator in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Earlier, the ED had claimed in its second charge sheet that Vijay Nair and several AAP leaders had executed this scam together at the behest of Manish Sisodia.

Earlier, the ED had claimed in its third supplementary charge sheet that the Delhi new liquor policy was a conspiracy by some big leaders of AAP and the South Group. CM KCR’s daughter and BSR leader K. Kavita’s name is also included in the South group. Actually, ED and CBI are investigating the Delhi liquor scam case. CBI arrested Sisodia on 24 February. Whereas in the money laundering case, the ED arrested the former Deputy CM of Delhi from Tihar Jail on 9 March. Since then Sisodia is lodged in Tihar Jail and he has not got bail yet.

Sisodia is in ED custody till May 23

In this case, on May 8, the court had extended Manish Sisodia’s custody till May 23 in the ED case. Apart from Sisodia, the ED has so far arrested 11 more people in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Ahead of the May 8 hearing, the Rouse Avenue Court had on April 28 refused to grant bail to Sisodia in the ED case. Justice MK Nagpal had said that former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia had changed the eligibility of liquor vendors and their profit margin. Justice Nagpal had also said that this work was done by Sisodia without consulting the ministers.

The main accused in this case is former Deputy CM

Manish Sisodia is accused of changing the Group of Ministers report as a former deputy CM according to the South Lobby. The ED has also claimed in the court that it has evidence related to it, which proves that Sisodia was involved in money laundering. On this basis, the court rejected the bail plea of ​​the former deputy CM.
