Mehbooba Mufti’s irresponsible statement raised questions on Indian media and judiciary

Mehbooba Mufti On Pakistan Violence: There has been turmoil in Pakistan for the last several hours. former PM of the country Imran Khan has been arrested. Meanwhile, now the statement of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has also come to the fore. By tweeting, he has raised questions on the Indian media and judiciary. They say that democracy in Pakistan has become frayed.

Mehbooba Mufti said that now the only ray of hope in Pakistan is an independent judiciary and a media, which is completely opposite to India’s media and judiciary. He said that political representatives were being arrested on frivolous grounds.

In Pakistan, democracy lies in tatters. Perhaps the only silver lining is an independent judiciary & a fierce media holding the establishment accountable unlike the world’s largest democracies.
