Paytm : If you use iPhone then there is good news for you. Paytm Payments Bank has started Paytm UPI Lite support for iOS users. The UPI Lite feature will allow iPhone users to make secure and fast transactions without entering the UPI PIN. iOS users have also got some other features on Paytm along with UPI Lite support, which include RuPay Credit Card on UPI in Paytm, Split Bill and alternate UPI ID hiding mobile numbers.
What is UPI Lite?
UPI Lite works by creating an on-device wallet, which can be used to store up to Rs.2000. This facility is available on many popular payment apps including Paytm and PhonePe. Let us tell you, Paytm was the first payment bank to launch UPI Lite on its Super app. Now, this UPI Lite has been introduced on iOS platform as well.
Daily usage is Rs 4,000
Once UPI Lite is set up, users can do instant and secure transactions of up to Rs 200 without any hassle. A user can add up to Rs 2,000 to UPI Lite twice a day, which means the total daily usage can be up to Rs 4,000.
How to use Paytm UPI Lite on iPhone?
- Open Paytm App.
- Tap on the “UPI Lite” icon on the home screen.
- Enter your bank account details and confirm.
- Add money to your UPI Lite Wallet.
- To make the payment, select the option “UPI Lite”.
- Enter the receiver’s UPI ID or scan their QR code.
- Enter the amount you wish to pay.
- Now tap on “Pay”.
