Chennai Super Kings

With 15 points in 12 matches, this team is second in the points table. Chennai has to play the next two matches against Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals.

Mumbai Indians

Like every season, Mumbai Indians have appeared in their old style this season as well. After the initial defeat, the 5-time champion team is now back on track. The team still has three more matches to play, so if they continue to win two, then Rohit Sharma and Co. will reach the last four. Although the team needs to improve the net run rate.

Lucknow Super Giants

If KKR wins all their remaining three matches then they will have 16 points. In such a situation, they will have to depend on the results of other teams to make it to the playoffs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

RCB has also won 5 out of 11 matches so far this season and the team has 10 points. If the team wins all the remaining three matches, then they will have 16 points. But the net run rate of the team is -0.345 which is a matter of concern. RCB’s next matches are against Rajasthan, Hyderabad and Gujarat. A single defeat can put them out of the playoffs.

Punjab Kings

Like Lucknow, Rajasthan, RCB and Kolkata, Punjab has also won 5 out of 11 matches so far. With 10 points, the team is at the 8th position in the points table. If Punjab also wins its remaining three matches, then it will remain in the race for the playoffs. Although net run rate (-0.441) is a big problem for them as other teams are better than them.

Sunrise Hyderabad

Hyderabad has won 4 out of 10 matches so far. SRH has played one match less as compared to other teams. If the team wins all the remaining four matches, then they will also have 16 points. Although Hyderabad’s net run rate (-0.472) is not good.

delhi capitals

The team led by David Warner is at the last position in the points table. Delhi has won 4 out of 11 matches so far. If the team also wins all their remaining three matches, then they will have 14 points.
