NCERT gave clarification on periodic table, said – not removed from curriculum, will study in detail in 11th

NCERT On Periodic Table: The National Council of Educational Research and Training has tweeted about the periodic table and informed that it has not been removed from the school curriculum. In fact, a few days ago such reports were circulating in which it was said that NCERT has removed Evolution and Periodic Table from the curriculum. However, now he has clarified by tweeting that it has not been removed from the curriculum, but it has been given in great detail in Unit 3 of Class 11th textbook. From here students can study them in detail.

NCERT has clarified that the reports of dropping Evolution and Periodic Table are wrong. Whether it is evolution or periodic table, both are present in the textbook in detail. There is a whole chapter on Evolution (Chapter – 6 and page number 110 to 126). In this, the concept of evolution and Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution have been explained in detail.

In the tweet posted by NCERT in this regard, it is written that – Periodic table has not been removed from the school curriculum, but it is very detailed in Unit – 3 ‘Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties’ (page 74-99) It is given in class 11th textbook.
