BSNL Revival Plan: Today the government has made a big announcement for the state-owned telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved a revival package of Rs 89,047 crore for BSNL. The Cabinet Committee of Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved this decision today.
This capital investment is more than the previous financial year
Under this, it has been decided that for the financial year starting from April 1, 2023, the central government has decided to infuse capital of Rs 52,937 crore and this is more than the capital investment of Rs 44,720 crore in the previous financial year i.e. 2023.
What is the package given for
However, this package will be used for 4G and 5G services of BSN L. The government believes that a state-run telecom company should get a chance to flourish more because of its strategic importance.
Other major decisions of the cabinet
Prime Minister Narendra Modi In the cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, the increase in the MSP of Kharif crops for the 2023-24 marketing season was approved. In which the MSP of Arhar Dal has been increased by Rs 400 to Rs 7000 per quintal. The MSP of Urad Dal has also been increased by Rs 350 to Rs 6950 per quintal.
