‘Godse is the son of India, like Aurangzeb and Babur…’, said Union Minister Giriraj Singh

Giriraj Singh on Nathuram Godse: Union Minister Giriraj Singh has described Nathuram Godse, the assassin of President Mahatma Gandhi, as the son of India. News agency ANI has shared the video of the Union Minister’s statement.

In the video, Giriraj Singh is seen saying, “If Gandhi’s killer, then Godse is also the son of India.” He was born in India, is not an invader like Aurangzeb and Babur, and the one who feels happy to be called Babur’s son, at least he cannot be a true son of Mother India.

Trivendra Singh Rawat called Godse a patriot

Earlier on Wednesday (June 7), former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and BJP leader Trivendra Singh Rawat had also termed Bapu’s killer Nathuram Godse as a ‘patriot’. During a conversation with the media at BJP’s district headquarters in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, Trivendra Singh Rawat had said, “Gandhiji was killed, that is a different issue. As far as I have known and read Godse, he was also a patriot. We do not agree with the murder of Gandhiji.

Along with this, while taunting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, he had said that his Kevas surname is Gandhi.
