keep resume updated
Resume is the first step to get a job. If you keep it right then only your chances of getting a job will increase. Do not do this that you are still using the resume made years ago. This is where your first impression gets spoiled. Keep it ready in new format, in new writing style and with new updates. Whatever new you have achieved or learned, keep adding it to the CV.
Apply only at the right place
Many times, by putting resume on websites, you do not know how many types of job offers start coming to you. But on entertaining them, it is known that they are of no use to you. That’s why don’t waste your time in them. See leisurely what is your target, what kind of job do you want and what is your expectation from salary to other allowances. Proceed only after knowing everything and it is most important to know that the work should be of your interest and your area. Otherwise you will not be able to play long innings.
keep following up
There is also a way to get a job, do not sit silently after sending resume or interview. Follow it up and ask the company by email etc. what process is going on for that job. However, do not send so many mails or messages that the company people start avoiding you, but for some time information can be obtained for follow up.
get expert advice
If there is any problem in any particular area, then you can take advice from the expert of the subject. Ask them where you are making mistakes or what things you should take care of. You can also show your resume to the expert. If there is some deficiency in it, they can also be removed. There is a whole panel of experts who can help you in many fields from finding out your real interest to counseling you and giving you tips for interview.
