Asaduddin Owaisi shared two news reports targeting Muslims in Gujarat and UP

Asaduddin Owaisi Tweet: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi posted videos on social media on Saturday (June 17). Mentioning two incidents of alleged thrashing of Muslim men in Gujarat’s Junagadh and Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr, he has reacted strongly.

According to Hindustan Times report, in the first video, a group of men can be seen standing in line outside the Dargah Junagadh and getting thrashed. The video shows two men in plain clothes with handkerchiefs tied over their faces, thrashing people standing in a queue. However, no confirmation has been made regarding this video in the report.

What did Asaduddin Owaisi say?

Regarding this whole matter, Asaduddin Owaisi wrote in a tweet, “Only we will be oppressed, only we will be called oppressors. We will be killed and we will be prosecuted. In India, Hindutva extreme-love is on the rise, some spark of love-love of sharp Hindutvaists has reached the police department. Today’s 2 news headlines are a living example of that.

He further wrote, “First news: When Muslim youths protested against the demolition of the dargah in Junagadh, Gujarat, the police, who are called the protectors of the public, are beating Muslim youths in front of the same dargah with their straps in front of everyone.”

While sharing another video, he said, “Second news: In Bulandshahr, a daily wage laborer was tied to a tree, thrashed and forced to raise JSR slogans. Later, see the sympathy of the police, instead of taking action against the culprits, Sahil was sent to jail. Where to go if you take a complaint against the oppression being done on you?
