MP Sanjay Raut has written a letter to the Secretary General of the United Nations, demanding that June 20 be declared World Traitor Day.
Shiv Sena’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut made this demand on this day last year Eknath Shinde Shiv Sena MLAs under the leadership have done this in view of the rebellion. Last year, the rebellion of around 40 MLAs brought down the Uddhav Thackeray-led government. He has sent this letter at a time when Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray factions celebrated Shiv Sena’s foundation day separately on the same day i.e. on 19th June.
Will take help from the people of Maharashtra
Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that we will collect signatures of lakhs of people of Maharashtra on this demand letter and send them to the United Nations. According to Raut, the world has seen many incidents of betrayal and this happened last year with the people of Maharashtra. He said that when our party comes to power, June 20 will be celebrated as Gaddar Divas. Earlier, the NCP, which was part of the Mahavikas Aghadi government, had also made a similar demand.

On June 20 last year, Shiv Sena MLAs led by Eknath Shinde rebelled against CM Uddhav Thackeray. MPs were also involved in this rebellion. He is called a traitor by the Shiv Sena (UBT). Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray had said at the foundation day meeting held on June 19 that there are some people in Maharashtra who steal other’s fathers. They are traitors.
