Google started working on this AI technology 4 years ago. Google researchers and a joint health team developed AI technology to detect diabetic retinopathy. In fact, diabetic retinopathy is the main cause of blindness worldwide. Researchers have developed an algorithm that recognizes the signs of disease and tells what is the problem with the person’s eyes. The amazing thing is that after scanning the eyes, this technology also tells its treatment within seconds. In this technology, the retina of the person is scanned properly.

The work on AI technology did not stop here. Earlier this year, Google developed an algorithm that can predict a person’s sex, smoking habit and heart attack by scanning his retina. Google has trained Artificial Intelligence in such a way that when it scans a person’s retina, it can easily detect diseases. With the help of this technology, other diseases like dementia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and even schizophrenia can be detected early.

Scientists at Google and Verily’s used data from around 300,000 patients, which included patient eye scans and general medicine data, to train their AI algorithms. When Google tested AI technology, it was easily 70% successful in identifying a healthy and a person who could be suffering from a hard disease.

This AI algorithm developed by Google is not only easy to identify heart disease but it is also beneficial for doctors. With its help, the disease can be detected in a short time, while MRI and CT-Scan usually take longer time. At present, AI algorithms are analyzing medical data so that in the coming times, diseases can be detected in people in a new and advanced way and its treatment can also be told in time.
