Complaint Against Mehbooba Mufti: Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti has faced trouble. A social and political activist has filed a complaint against Mufti at Nawabad police station in Jammu. In the complaint, Mufti has been accused of spreading false information about the army.
According to the report of ANI, a person named Bodhraj Sharma has said in a complaint to the police that the PDP chief had shared a message on his Twitter page, which was quite inflammatory. He has requested the police to register an FIR against Mufti under relevant sections.
warned to go to court
Sharma has said in his complaint that Mehbooba Mufti wrote a post against the army without any evidence before the Amarnath Yatra, which was extremely irresponsible. He also said that if no action is taken against the PDP chief, he will be forced to take the matter to court.
What is the matter?
Mehbooba Mufti made a serious allegation against the army in a tweet on Saturday (June 24). The PDP chief wrote, “Shocked to hear the news of Army’s 50 RR personnel entering a mosque in Pulwama and forcing Muslims to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’. This happened when Union Home Minister Amit Shah is here.”
Mehbooba Mufti, calling it an act of provocation, demanded an inquiry by Lieutenant General Rajeev Ghai, who commanded the Chinar Corps. He wrote, “All this has been done before the visit, which is only an act of provocation.” Tagging Lieutenant General Rajeev Ghai, Mufti said, “This should be investigated immediately.”
Later sharing the media report, he thanked the army for starting the investigation. He wrote, thanks to Chinar Corps for taking prompt action in Jadoora incident. Only genuine accountability will restore trust between civilians and the armed forces. Kashmir is the only state where pilgrimages like the Amarnath Yatra coincide with Eid. This is the spirit of Kashmiriyat.
