Weather update: Since the entry of monsoon across the country, rains are wreaking havoc from the plains to the hills. In many states including UP, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, people are facing problems due to rain. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of normal to above normal rainfall in some states of India for the next one week.
The process of rain is continuing in the national capital for the last 10 days. Due to the heavy rains, there has been a flood of water on the roads. Due to which people are facing difficulties in commuting. There is a possibility of heavy rain with lightning in Delhi on Saturday, July 1. Here on July 1, the maximum temperature is expected to be 34 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 22 degree Celsius. There is a possibility of rain in Uttar Pradesh for the next two days. There is a possibility of rain along with thunderstorm in 21 areas of the state. Because of which IMD has issued a yellow alert for these areas.

Yellow alert till 4th July
Rivers are in spate in Uttarakhand. In such a situation, along with the people living in the state, the pilgrims coming to Kedarnath are also facing a lot of problems. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in the state till July 4. In Gujarat too, half of the roads have been submerged due to rain. The situation is expected to remain like this for the coming few days.

It has been raining everyday since the onset of monsoon in Maharashtra. There is a long jam on the roads here due to which people are facing a lot of problems. Heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand and Vidarbha. It is raining like havoc in Himachal Pradesh. The water level of Sutlej river is continuously increasing in the state. Things are getting worse. Many people have died in this. Many people have become homeless. Landslide is happening in Shimla.
