Associate of terrorist organization Lashkar caught with perfume bolt bombs, action taken

Let Associate Arrested: An associate of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba was caught with perfume bottle bombs on Saturday (July 1). Police of Srinagar of Jammu and Kashmir gave this information by tweeting.

The accused was arrested from Batmaloo bus stand in Srinagar. Police said that four perfume IEDs (Improvised Explosive Device) were found from the accused. According to the police, the name of the accused is Yasir Ahmed Ittu, who is a resident of Gulshanabad in Kaimoh.

Case registered against the accused

An FIR has been registered against the accused under relevant sections including section 3/5 of the Explosive Substances Act at Batamalu police station. Significantly, a huge security grid is currently deployed in Jammu and Kashmir as the annual Amarnath Yatra has started from July 1. In such a situation, the security personnel have an eye on every corner.

Perfume IED has been recovered earlier also

Let us tell you that on February 2 this year too, such a news had come when the Jammu and Kashmir Police had said that a perfume bottle with IED was recovered from the accused, who became a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist from a government school teacher.

DGP Dilbag Singh said this about Perfume IED

The name of the accused was told as Arif. He was allegedly involved in carrying out several blasts, including on a bus carrying Vaishno Devi pilgrims. Then telling about the perfume IED, Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh had said that this is the first such IED recovered by the police. He had said that on trying to suppress or open the IED, there is an explosion.
