According to ABP Majha, after the swearing-in of Ajit Pawar, an important meeting of the Shinde faction took place at the residence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Along with this, some ministers of the Shinde faction are also angry with the stalled cabinet expansion.

All the ministers of the Shinde faction met Chief Minister Shinde on Monday morning at his residence in Thane. Cabinet ministers Uday Samant, Gulab Patil, Shambhuraj Desai, Shinde faction leader Dada Bhuse, Sandipan Bhumre were present on the occasion. Each had a meeting with Chief Minister Shinde where they discussed the possible allocation of portfolios. Along with this, he also expressed displeasure over the decision to include Ajit Pawar and his loyalists in the government.

But the Chief Minister has said that he will discuss with Devendra Fadnavis and find a way of mediation.
