Ajit Pawar said these things in a meeting called by his group in suburban Bandra. Ajit Pawar said that in the 2004 assembly elections, NCP had more MLAs than Congress, if we had not given the chief minister’s post to Congress at that time, till date only the Nationalist Congress Party would have been the chief minister in Maharashtra. Ajit Pawar faction leader Chhagan Bhujbal claimed that he has the support of more than 40 MLAs.
