‘Gautam is a serious child’, childhood coach Sanjay Bhardwaj said a shocking thing

Sanjay Bharadwaj On Gautam Gambhir: Gautam Gambhir was made the head coach of Team India after Rahul Dravid. Gambhir’s tenure started with the Sri Lanka tour. Team India registered a spectacular victory in the T20 series against Sri Lanka, but the performance of the Men in Blue in the ODI series has not been good so far. Meanwhile, discussions about Gambhir have intensified. Amidst these discussions, Gautam Gambhir’s childhood coach Sanjay Bhardwaj said that Gambhir is a child.

Speaking on the YouTube channel of former U19 World Cup winner Manjot Kalra, Sanjay Bhardwaj talked about Gambhir. He said, “Gambhir is a child. Even today he is like an innocent child. He has no anger. He is like a 12-year-old child. People think he is arrogant, but that is his attitude towards winning. I used to make him play matches after the nets and he used to cry after losing the match. He did not like losing even then.”

He further said, “People think he has attitude, this, that. No, Gambhir is a man with a true heart. He is soft-natured. He has made the careers of many youngsters.” Gambhir’s coach further said, “If you stay in your comfort zone, will you win? A person who understands how to win should also know how to avoid losing.”
