Veteran BJP Leader LK Advani Admitted in Hospital: Senior leader and former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani is admitted in Apollo Hospital in Delhi. According to sources, his condition is stable at the moment. The 96-year-old BJP leader is under the observation of doctors. His health had deteriorated last month too and he was admitted to AIIMS hospital.
What has been the political status of Lal Krishna Advani?
LK Advani was the Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004. Apart from this, he was also the Union Home Minister from 1999 to 2004. Advani is said to be one of those leaders who nurtured the BJP on the ground and in the organisational form. In March this year, President Draupadi Murmu Advani was awarded the country’s highest civilian honour, Bharat Ratna.
