Shootout at Wadala on Manya Survey: About 11 years ago, a film named ‘Shootout at Wadala’ (2013) was released which was based on the life of Mumbai’s famous gangster Manya Surve. In the film, John Abraham played the role of Manya Surve while Kangana Ranaut played his girlfriend. The film was a success at the box office and some of its scenes were huge hits.

Manya Surve was born on 8 August 1944 in a middle class family in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. It is said that like any other boy, Manya also had a dream of studying well and getting a job so that he could make his family happy. But something happened in his life due to which he became a gangster. This story has been shown in the film ‘Shootout at Wadala’.
