Antim may be banned for 3 years, he himself told what the whole matter was

Paris Olympics 2024: Wrestler Antim Panghal may be banned by the Indian Olympic Association for three years. Antim has been accused of getting his sister entry into the sports village through his entry card. Antim has been criticized a lot on this issue. However, now he himself has told the whole story. Antim said that he was unwell and his sister had gone there to take him home.

While talking to PTI, Antim told that his health had deteriorated. He said, “I had a bout yesterday. But I lost the bout because I did not fight well. There are rumours since yesterday that the police have taken Antim’s sister or the police have taken Antim away. There is nothing like that. My health was very bad. I had fever. My sister was staying in a hotel. She wanted to take me there. I had also taken permission for this.”

She said, “My luggage, which I needed very much, was left in the village. I fell asleep due to fever. Due to this, my sister took my card and went there. But there the card was taken away from my sister and they were taken to the police station for verification.”

Antim said about the fight with the cab driver, “When I lost the bout yesterday, the coach was also sad. I came to the hotel early. But he stayed there. Then we had booked a cab for him. When he came to the hotel, he did not have enough money to pay the cab driver. We told the driver that we will bring Euros from the hotel. One of my coaches came up and took the Euros. During this, the cab driver got a little angry. But there was nothing like a fight.”
