Rahul Gandhi News: Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday (August 8, 2024) went to the reception area of Parliament House and met the delegation of fishermen and the Right to Food delegation. Regarding this, the Congress alleged that Rahul Gandhi was supposed to meet the delegation of fishermen inside the Parliament, but he was not given a pass to enter the Parliament. Regarding this, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi said, “It is our right to meet anyone, but they stop us. Fishermen have an issue in Sri Lanka. I spoke about the farmers, the Speaker had said in the House that we are not being stopped, but then they are stopping us. My life has become a little more difficult now, earlier I used to meet people there. Now I have to come here to meet them.
Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, while going to the reception area of Parliament House, said, “A student delegation has not been able to enter the Parliament yet and meet the Leader of the Opposition. Rahul Gandhi is going to meet them as his Bharat Jodo Sankalp continues.”

Rahul Gandhi has met the farmer’s delegation
Earlier, on Tuesday (August 6, 2024), Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi met a delegation of farmer organizations in his office at Sand Bhavan, which included 11 members of the United Kisan Morcha. During the meeting with the farmers’ delegation, Rahul Gandhi talked about issues like legal guarantee of MSP and loan waiver for farmers.
