Arshad Nadeem Controversy: Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem, who won the gold medal in javelin throw at the Paris Olympics 2024, has landed in controversy. After returning to Pakistan from Paris, he met the leaders of Pakistan Markazi Muslim League, after which a controversy arose. Actually, PML is the political wing of the famous terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Lashkar is banned by the United Nations.

Pakistan Markazi Muslim League spokesperson Tabish Qayyum and Youth Wing President Haris Dar met at Arshad Nadeem’s house. PML itself gave this information by writing a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). At the same time, Lashkar also shared the photo of this meeting on its X handle. Pakistan Markazi Muslim League also announced to give Umrah tickets to Arshad Nadeem and his parents. Markazi Muslim League Youth Wing President Haris Dar is accused of funding Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Nadeem created history by winning gold in Olympics

Nadeem created history on August 8 by becoming the first Pakistani to win a gold medal at the Olympics. The 27-year-old player covered a distance of 92.97 meters in his second attempt in the men’s javelin throw competition and won the gold medal. In the final, Nadeem crossed the 90-meter mark twice and became the first athlete to achieve this feat in Olympic history. India’s star athlete Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal in that event.
