Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi Murder Case: Treatment of Rohit Rathod, the murderer of Rajput Karni Sena president Sukhdev Gogamedi, has started in the prison ward of RBM Hospital, Bharatpur district, Rajasthan. Gogamedi’s murderer Rohit Rathod has been on a hunger strike since August 9 demanding to be shifted from Bharatpur’s Central Jail Sewar to another jail. When Rohit’s health deteriorated, he was admitted to the prison ward of RBM Hospital on August 13, but Rohit Rathod refused to take treatment even in RBM Hospital.
Rohit Rathod is a henchman of Lawrence Bishnoi gang
Rohit Rathod, who killed Rajput Karni Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, is said to be a henchman of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Rohit Rathod has been lodged in Sewar jail for the last several months. Rohit Rathod started a hunger strike from August 9 demanding transfer from Sewar Central Jail to a new jail. On August 13, Rohit Rathod suddenly fell ill and the Sewar jail administration admitted him to the district RBM hospital. After which Rohit Rathod refused to take treatment. But after persuasion by the jail administration, Rohit agreed to take treatment.
What does the jail superintendent have to say?
Sewar Jail Superintendent Paramjeet Singh said that today we went to RBM Hospital. Where they explained to Rohit Rathod after which he started taking treatment. His treatment is going on since 12 noon. So far, 3 glucose bottles have been put on him. He is on hunger strike since 9 August demanding jail transfer. On 13 August, Rohit was admitted to RBM Hospital when his health suddenly deteriorated.
Rohit Rathod’s blood sugar level was found to be low in the test. On Tuesday, Rohit’s sugar level was 70 and on Wednesday his sugar level was 62.9. Despite his ill health, he was constantly refusing to take treatment. After which he was admitted to the jail ward. Armed policemen have been deployed outside the jail ward for security purposes.
