According to the administration, about 59000 people live here, out of which 600 to 700 people are migrating every day. Tretiak said in an interview that the enemy is advancing much faster than expected, so efforts are being made to evacuate people by the end of the week. Pokrovsk is considered a major center for the Ukrainian army.
