Najibullah Kakar, a senior official of Musakhel, said that terrorists stopped several buses, trucks and vans on the highway connecting Punjab to Balochistan. During this, at least 23 people were killed, while 5 were injured. He said that vehicles coming and going from Punjab were checked and people coming from Punjab were identified and shot.

10 vehicles set on fire
According to a report in Pakistani newspaper Dawn, Assistant Commissioner Najeeb Kakar said that the armed men blocked the highway in Musakhel and made the passengers get off. They also set 10 vehicles on fire.
