What is the latest update regarding NEET PG counseling, how to apply? See the complete process

NEET PG Counseling 2024 To Begin Soon: NEET PG Exam 2024 scorecards have been released by NBE. Candidates who have appeared in this year’s National Eligibility Test Post Graduation can download the scorecard by visiting the official website of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. To do this, the official website address is – nbe.edu.in. After the release of the scorecard, now it is the turn of counselling whose schedule will be released soon.

NEET PG counseling is organized by MCC i.e. Medical Counseling Committee. Therefore, to get any information or updates in this regard, you have to visit the official website of MCC from time to time, whose address is – mcc.nic.in. This counselling is to be done for 50 percent All India Quota seats. The state will do counselling for the remaining 50 percent seats.

Apart from All India Quota seats, State Quota seats, candidates will get admission in Armed Forces Medical Services, Deemed Universities, Central Universities, ESIC Colleges through this counselling.

Registration has to be done here

After the counselling schedule is released, candidates can register themselves using their email ID and mobile number by visiting the website mentioned above. For this, one has to visit mcc.nic.in.

Here there will be a link named PG Medical Counseling, click on it. Now register with your valid email ID and mobile number. Now fill the application through login credentials, enter details (personal and academic) and submit the form.

Pay the fees, do choice filling

After registration, pay the fee in the next step. The counseling fee will be according to the category. Like Rs 1000 for general category, Rs 500 for SC, ST and OBC categories and Rs 5,000 for all categories of deemed universities.

After this, candidates will have to fill the choices. The options will be given on the left side of the screen and when selected, they will move to the right. Fill the choices carefully and lock them before the due date, otherwise it will get locked automatically. It can be added or deleted before the due date.

After this, MCC will release the seat allotment results. First the provisional result will be released and after that the final list will be released if the candidates do not raise any objection. The candidates who accept the institute will have to report to their college within time.

Those who choose upgrade or whose name does not appear will have to wait for the next round of counselling. Counselling will be completed in several rounds. This includes a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round.
