Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said during a speech in Virginia, USA that all the accounts of Congress were sealed three months before the general elections.

According to the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, “A person from the finance department of our party came and told us that all our accounts have been sealed.”

The former Congress president said, “Just think what would happen if someone is running a business and faces such a situation! This is what happened with the Congress.”

During the speech, Rahul Gandhi further said, “We did not even have money for advertising and campaigning. There was no money even for the travel of the leaders.”

Smiling, the Congress MP said, “Mallikarjun Kharge, other senior people and our treasurer, all of us were together. At that time, the treasurer was completely exhausted.”
