‘Negativity ate up our relationship’, Abdu Rozik said this when his engagement with his fiancée broke

Abdu Rozik On Trolling After Engagement: ‘Bigg Boss 16’ fame Abdu Rozik got engaged to an Emirati girl this year and got married soon. But a few months after the engagement, he broke off the relationship. Abdu told that his engagement was broken due to cultural differences. Now he has revealed how the trolling he faced after the engagement had a negative impact on his relationship.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Abdu Rozik said, ‘Amira took this decision very hard. One of the most difficult parts for her was the constant trolling that we faced after the announcement of our engagement. This had a profound effect on her mental health.’

‘Negativity is eating away our relationship…’
Abdu further said- ‘As much as I wanted to protect her from this, it became clear that this negativity is eating away at our relationship. Right now both of us are trying to give each other space to recover emotionally. Talking about breaking the engagement, Abdu said- When I first realized that the wedding would have to be cancelled, there was sadness, disappointment and even a sense of failure.’

This lesson was learned from the relationship
The ‘Bigg Boss 16’ fame singer said- ‘It is never easy to accept that what you are planning, dreaming and working for will not be fulfilled’. Abdu said that from all this he learned that it is important to know that values, cultural rituals and expectations are aligned before committing to marriage. He says- ‘Relationships are more than just emotional connections. They require the ability to do them. Face the challenges of real life together.’
