According to media reports, students in Pakistan have to pay a fee of 3 lakh to 6 lakh Pakistani rupees annually for B.Tech course. This fee depends on government and private universities. Where the fees in government universities are slightly less.

Students studying in government institutions have to pay an annual fee of 1 to 1.5 lakh rupees. In private universities, it can be much higher. In some reputed private institutions, this fee reaches 7 to 9 lakh Pakistani rupees per year.

Apart from this, students also have to take care of other expenses like hostel charges, books, lab charges and examination fees, which further increases the total expense. Especially for engineering students, lab charges and practical fees also prove to be a big financial burden.
