Hunter may be sentenced on December 16 in a federal tax evasion case in California. Hunter was convicted in this case earlier this month. Hunter could be sentenced to up to 17 years in prison for these charges, and may also have to pay a fine of $1.35 million. Regarding these cases, President Joe Biden has said that he will not use his presidential powers to save his son.
