‘Who ate biryani with terrorists?’, Amit Shah hits back at Mallikarjun Kharge

Jammu Kashmir Election 2024: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday (22 September 2024) reached Nowshera in Jammu and Kashmir to campaign in support of BJP candidate Ravinder Raina. In the public meeting, he mainly cornered Congress and National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah on the issue of terrorism. He stressed that terrorism is now counting its last breaths under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Union Home Minister appealed to the people of the valley to vote in favour of Ravindra Raina in the assembly elections. He said, “If the people of the valley vote in support of Raina and make him victorious, we will set a new example of development in the Naushera valley.” The Union Minister targeted former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah and the Congress by referring to terrorism.

Amit Shah’s reply to Kharge

The Home Minister said, “Abdullah sahab, don’t worry, after the elections are over, we are going to bring a white paper which will completely expose the Congress, you and the Mufti family. After all, who brought terrorism to the valley? At whose instigation did it come? Whose government was in power at the centre and who was ruling the valley at that time? Who ate biryani with the terrorists? We are going to expose all this.”

Earlier on Saturday (September 21, 2024), in Jammu, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had taken a dig at PM Modi and said who had gone to Pakistan to eat biryani?

Addressing an election rally, the Union Home Minister said, “Recently, former Congress Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde had said that earlier he was afraid of going to Lal Chowk. Now you see that the former Home Minister of the country is afraid of going to Lal Chowk. It is okay Shinde sahab. Everyone has their own nature, but now that I am the Home Minister, I tell you that you should go to Lal Chowk with your grandchildren, no one will be able to harm you.”

‘Congress wants to bring back terrorism in the valley’

The Home Minister attacked the Congress and said, “This party wants to re-establish terrorism in the valley. The people of the valley are sleeping peacefully today. There is peace all around, but look at the mentality of the Congress that it wants to bring back terrorism in the valley again, but I want to make it clear that as long as there is a Narendra Modi government at the Centre, this dream of the Congress is not going to be fulfilled at any cost.”

He also targeted Farooq Abdullah over Article 370. The Home Minister said, “Farooq Abdullah says that he will bring Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, but I want to make one thing clear that even if his three generations pass away, his dream will not be fulfilled. He cannot restore Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Today, there is a wave of peace all around in the valley, which some people are unable to digest, but I will not let this happen.”

Addressing the public meeting, Shah expressed his commitment towards uprooting terrorism from the valley. He stressed that we will uproot terrorism to give a peaceful life to the people of the valley. The Home Minister said that if anyone tries to disturb the peace of the valley, then I want to make it clear that we will give a befitting reply, which we were not able to do earlier.

Home Minister amit shah He said, “Today we are replying to brick with stone and all this is because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Narendra Modi This has been possible due to the able leadership of PM Modi, which the people of the valley understand very well. If terrorism or stone pelting happens again in the valley, then I have no problem in saying that we will bury it in hell.
