There is no budget for ‘CM COVID-19 Bal Seva Yojana’? Now Minister Narendra Patel made this claim

Madhya Pradesh News Today: The whole world, including India, suffered the outbreak of the global pandemic Corona for 3 years, people often get scared remembering that period of Covid-19. This epidemic has ruined many homes, while many children have lost the shadow of their parents.

Due to the corona epidemic, 1300 children were orphaned in Madhya Pradesh. For the maintenance of these children, the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan started the ‘Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Bal Seva Yojana’. Under this, orphan children were to get a financial pension of Rs 5000 every month.

Complaint lodged in public hearing
Madhya Pradesh became the first state in the country to help orphan children through this scheme, but the irony is that now the Madhya Pradesh government has forgotten such orphan children. During the Lok Sabha elections, citing the code of conduct, it was assured that the amount of the scheme will be sent to the children’s accounts again after the elections are over.

However now Even after six months of the Lok Sabha elections, the grant money has not been deposited in the children’s accounts. When a complaint was lodged in the public hearing at the Collectorate, the officers there cited lack of budget. The situation is such that these children are barely able to make ends meet."text-align: justify;">Orphan children narrated their ordeal
Alok Ahirwar, Aayushi Ahirwar’s parents Anil Ahirwar and Chandra Ahirwar also died due to this epidemic in village Lasudiya Parihar, 25 km away from Bhopal. After which these children became orphans. The children told that it has been 6 months and they have not received their pension.

The uncle of these orphan children, Jitendra Ahiwar, has a broken spine and these innocent children are responsible for his care. There is a grandfather at home but he cannot see. When they had pleaded in the public hearing a few days ago, they were told that there is no budget.

‘The government is concerned about orphaned children’
When Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla was asked about this whole matter, he said, "I don’t know about it, I will find out about it." When State Health Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel was asked about this, he said that this is not the case, the government is concerned about the children who became orphans during the Corona period.

State Health Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel claimed that money is being delivered as per rules under this scheme. He completely rejected the issue of lack of budget and said that there is nothing like that. There is budget for these children and the government is standing for them.

Congress made these allegations
Congress spokesperson Anand Jat has raised questions on the government. He said that Madhya Pradesh was already a state of malnutrition, poor and strikers, which shows that Madhya Pradesh is now going to be a bankrupt state. Anand Jat said, "The Madhya Pradesh government is not able to give Rs 5,000 per month to those children whose parents died due to corona and are now orphans."

Congress leader Anand Jat alleged that the government is so helpless that it is unable to pay for orphan children. Taking a jibe at CM Mohan Yadav, he said, "If the Chief Minister stops this politics of event promotion, then these children can be given an amount of Rs. 5000 for their maintenance.

The then government had made this announcement
The then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had started the ‘Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Bal Seva Yojana’ for the maintenance of children. In May 2021, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced that children who have lost their parents or guardians due to corona will be given a pension of Rs 5,000 every month.

Former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan had said that free education for these children and free money for families will also be arranged. This scheme was started on 30 May 2021. Complete arrangements for education-shelter-food and life plan were to be made in the scheme. This scheme was applicable to cases of death due to Kovid-19 in the period from 1 March 2021 to 30 June 2021.

This was announced
. A pension of 5 thousand rupees per month will be given.
. Monthly ration will be given free of cost.
. The government will provide free education from 1st to 12th standard in government schools and 10 thousand rupees annually for education in private schools.
. The government will also bear the cost of college education.

Provision of 7.98 crores in the budget
Children who lost their parents due to Covid-19. With the aim of providing them financial assistance, food security, free education, Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Bal Seva is being implemented.

Through this scheme, assistance of Rs. 5000 per month is being paid to 1326 children. A provision of Rs. 7.98 crore has been made in the budget for this scheme this year.
