DUSU Elections 2024: If you are a DU student and have not made your identity card, then you can vote like this

Delhi University Students Union Elections: The wait for elections in Delhi University is over. Voting is going to be held tomorrow i.e. 27th September. A total of 21 candidates are contesting in this election. Out of these, 8 are contesting for the post of President, 5 for Vice President, 4 for Secretary and 4 for Joint Secretary. The main contest is being said to be between ABVP and NSUI.
Voting for Delhi University Student Union elections will be held tomorrow (September 27) from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

ABVP

BJP’s student wing ABVP has nominated Rishabh Chaudhary as president, Bhanu Pratap Singh as vice president, Mitravinda Karanwal as secretary and Aman Kapasiya as joint secretary.

NSUI
The Congress student wing NSUI has nominated Raunak Khatri for the post of President, Yash Nandal for the post of Vice President, Namrata Jeff for the post of Secretary and Lokesh Chaudhary for the post of Joint Secretary.

If we talk about the active left parties in Delhi University, this time AISA (All India Students Association) and SFI (Students Federation of India) have formed an alliance in which both the parties are contesting on two seats each. AISA’s Savi Gupta has been nominated for the post of President, Ayush Mandal of AISA has been nominated for the post of Vice President. Anamika of SFI has been nominated for the post of Secretary and SFI’s Sneha Agarwal has been nominated for the post of Joint Secretary.

If you are a DU student, vote like this –

Students who do not have ID cards will have to show the fee receipt to vote. Second and third year students will have to show their ID cards to vote. Without it, they will not be allowed to vote.

consequences –
After the DUSU votes are cast, the counting of votes will begin at 9:30 am on September 28. The results will be declared on September 28 itself.
