Like paracetamol, pani, aspirin etc. But in the quality check of Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), a total of 53 medicines being sold in the country have failed the quality check.

These include medicines like paracetamol and pancreatic, calcium and vitamin D. The CDSCO report says that a total of 53 medicines have failed the quality check.

Pantocid is also included. This medicine is used during the treatment of acid reflux and is manufactured by a big pharmaceutical company like Sun Pharma. Medicines like paracetamol, which are commonly used in every household, have also not been able to pass the quality check. The banned medicines include clonazepam tablets used for attacks and anxiety, painkiller diclofenac, ambroxol used for respiratory diseases, anti-fungal fluconazole and some multivitamins and calcium tablets.

Apart from this, Vitamin D capsules and calcium medicines are also included in this list. Let us tell you that doctors often prescribe Vitamin D capsules to remove bone weakness. Calcium tablets are also consumed when there is calcium deficiency in the body. These medicines have failed the quality check.

Ursecol 300, which is used in the treatment of kidney stones and liver, its sample has also failed. Telma H and Deflazacort tablets have also failed this test. CDSCO’s list contains all those medicines which are involved in cases of fake, adulterated and wrong branding.

These include anti-diabetic medicine Glimepiride, high blood pressure medicine Telma H (Telmisartan 40 mg), acid reflux medicine Pan D and calcium supplements Shelcal C and D3. Antibiotic metronidazole is also included in this list. Apart from this, medicines of many other companies are also included in this list.
