Hezbollah’s new chief Saifuddin could not take command even for a week, killed in Israeli attack

Israel-Hezbollah War: After the assassination of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon, Hezbollah’s new chief Hashem Saifuddin has also reportedly been killed in an Israeli attack. To kill Saifuddin, Israel launched a missile attack in South Beirut. During the Israeli attack, Saifuddin was holding a meeting with his commanders in a bunker built under a multi-storey building.

Talking about the sequence of Israeli attacks, on September 27, Israel bombed all the positions of Hezbollah including Beirut. During this time, Israel also heavily bombed the headquarters of Hezbollah. After this attack, Israel claimed that it had almost completely destroyed Hezbollah. Israel also claimed to destroy Hezbollah’s missile stockpiles. After this, news came that Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and his daughter had been killed in the Israeli attack, after which a statement was issued by Hezbollah saying that Nasrallah has not died.

How did Nasrallah die?
Media reports quoted Hezbollah sources as saying that Hassan Nasrallah has survived despite the attack on Hezbollah headquarters. After this report, Israeli Defense Forces officials said that they do not believe that Nasrallah can survive after this attack. At present, Israel is investigating Nasrallah’s death. A few hours after this statement, Israel confirmed that Nasrallah had died. Reuters report said that at the time of the Israeli attack, Nasrallah was hiding in another building instead of the headquarters, where he died due to the poisonous gas spread after the Israeli attacks.

Timing of Iran and Israel’s attack
After the death of Hassan Nasrallah, Hashem Saifuddin’s name came up that he will now become the Chief of Hezbollah. On the other hand, angry over Nasrallah’s death, Iran attacked Israel on October 1. During this period, Iran fired about 200 missiles at Israel. At present, the extent of Israel’s loss in this attack has not been disclosed. But three days after this incident, i.e. on the night of 3 October, Israel attacked the building in South Beirut, under which Saifuddin was present in the bunker. Israel has claimed that Hezbollah’s new chief Hashem Saifuddin along with several commanders have been killed in this attack. At present, Hezbollah has not made any disclosure regarding Saifuddin’s death.
