Prayagraj News: The Uttar Pradesh government has already started preparations for Mahakumbh 2025 to be held in Prayagraj next year. In this series, on Sunday (6 October), Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting regarding the preparations for Mahakumbh. During this, CM Yogi said that during the Maha Kumbh Mela, there will be a ban on the sale of meat and liquor in Prayagraj in order to respect the eternal sentiments.
In this meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a deadline for the preparations for Mahakumbh to be held next year. Under this, he has given instructions to complete all the preparations related to Mahakumbh by 10th December. CM Yogi Adityanath said that the Mahakumbh of 2025 will be clean, safe and well organized.
Big announcement regarding Ganga Yamuna
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has assured that Ganga Yamuna will be uninterrupted and clean before Mahakumbh. Apart from this, there will be zero discharge of Ganga from Bijnor to Ballia. That means no waste will be released into the Ganga from Bijnor to Ballia.
CM Yogi Adityanath also gave instructions to the officials to streamline the traffic system before Mahakumbh. He has asked to prepare the steel bridge by the first week of December and make transportation from Kanpur, Lucknow, Barabanki and Ayodhya to Prayagraj easy. So that the devotees coming here do not have to face any problem.
Opportunity to interview Sanatan culture
Referring to Mahakumbh 2025, CM Yogi Adityanath said that this is an opportunity to introduce the world to Sanatan Indian culture, in such a situation, special attention will be paid to the standards of cleanliness, safety and convenience in Mahakumbh.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also stressed on improving traffic management. He said that whether visitors or locals, no one had to face the problem of traffic jam. He said that there will be no VIP movement on special bathing festivals.
Security arrangements at every nook and corner
Yogi government has made a special plan to make strong security arrangements in Mahakumbh. VVIP corridor will be built from the airport to the fair area. In view of the security arrangements, three police lines, three women police stations and 10 police posts will be established in the fair area.
CM Yogi appealed to respect the faith of all the devotees in Mahakumbh and treat them well. During this period, crowd management, fire service, help desk, parking, installation of CCTV and anti-drone system will be implemented.
He instructed to prepare a security model using AI tools. Apart from this, special care will be taken for the safety and facilities of all those participating in the Maha Kumbh, be it Kalpavasi, bathers or tourists. During this period, the police have been asked to maintain cooperative behaviour.
Government will encourage home stay
The government will encourage the possibility of home stay in Prayagraj during Mahakumbh, which will provide additional income to the local people. The devotees coming here were appealed to keep taking guidance from Akharas, Acharyas and saints and were asked to keep special attention on their expectations.
Praising his government, CM Yogi Adityanath said that by successfully organizing Kumbh in 2019, the Uttar Pradesh government has set a standard, this time people’s expectations from us have increased even more.
The scope of the fair area will increase
Let us tell you, in the year 2019, the fair area was spread over 3200 hectares. This time the fair area will be spread over an area of more than 4000 hectares. During this period, more than seven thousand buses will be operated, while more than one and a half lakh toilets will be installed in the fair area, 10 thousand sanitation workers will be deployed for its maintenance and cleaning work.
In view of the security in Mahakumbh, there will be a need for GRP police stations, along with this there is a need to increase the vigilance of trains, railways and other places. For this, better coordination will be established between Railways and Uttar Pradesh Police. For security reasons, it will be mandatory to verify e-rickshaw drivers with tenants and restaurant staff.
CM’s appeal to Sant Samaj
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the Sant Samaj, said that he called for curbing cow slaughter and crime in Uttar Pradesh and coming forward for cow protection.
The Chief Minister said that the government is dedicated to respecting the Sanatan tradition. He said that in Mahakumbh the whole world will witness Indian Sanatan culture. On this occasion, the sentiments of the saints will be fully respected and efforts will be made to fulfill everyone’s hopes, expectations and needs.
‘Land reserved for the tombs of saints’
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Gave a big gift to the saints. He announced in front of the saints that land will be reserved in Prayagraj for the Samadhi of saints and ascetics.
