East Trip Planners Share Price: Easy Trip Planners Limited, a company running an online travel platform by the name of EaseMyTrip.Com, is preparing to give a gift to its shareholders in the festive season. A board meeting of the company has been called on Monday, October 14, 2024, in which the grant of bonus shares will be discussed and approved.
In the regulatory filing filed with the stock exchanges, Easy Trip Planners Limited said that under the regulations of SEBI, a meeting of the Board of Directors of the company has been called on October 14 at 1 pm. Regarding the agenda of the meeting, the company said that along with discussion on giving bonus shares to the shareholders, this proposal will be approved in the board meeting. Due to this news, at the close of market, the stock of Ease My Trip closed at Rs 34.09 with a jump of 3.77 percent.
In the last few years, the stock of Ease My Trip has disappointed its investors a lot. The company, which gave excellent returns after listing in the year 2021, has given a negative return of 16 percent in 2024 despite the tremendous rise in the Indian stock market. Whereas the stock has declined by 33 percent in 2 years.
Only last week, Ease My Trip announced that the company is again starting booking for Maldives. According to the company, after the improvement in relations between the two countries, the company has decided to start booking again. In fact, at the beginning of this year, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tension had increased between the two countries after some ministers of Maldives commented on social media regarding the visit of Lakshadweep. After this, to avenge the insult to the Prime Minister and the country, many companies announced boycott of Maldives, which also included Easy My Trip. Ease My Trip had decided to cancel all flight bookings.
