TCS Q2 Results: The country’s largest IT company Tata Consultancy Services has declared the results for the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25. The company’s revenue from operations has increased by 8 percent in this quarter to Rs 64,259 crore and profit has been Rs 11909 crore. The company has also announced a dividend of Rs 10 per share to its shareholders.
While announcing the quarterly results, TCS said that the company’s revenue from operations is Rs 64,259 crore, which is 8 percent more than the revenue of Rs 59,692 crore in the same quarter last year. In the second quarter, the company has made a profit of Rs 11909 crore which was Rs 11,342 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year. The company has given a gift to its shareholders and declared the second interim dividend. TCS will give a dividend of Rs 10 per share to its shareholders and it will be paid on November 5. October 18 has been fixed as the record date for deciding the dividend.
On the results of TCS, CEO and MD of the company K Krittivasan said, amidst global uncertainty, our largest vertical BFSI has shown recovery. Strong performance has also been seen in our growth markets. He said, we are focusing on further improving our value for our customers, employees and other stakeholders.
The company’s results have been declared after the market closes. In today’s session, TCS shares closed at Rs 4228 with a fall of 0.6 percent. There is a wave of mourning in the Tata Group due to the demise of Ratan Tata, Honorary Chairman of Tata Sons, meanwhile TCS has declared its quarterly results. However, the company has postponed the press conference regarding the results.
