Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi Jinping has given a big statement on Wednesday during the meeting of BRICS countries regarding the Russia-Ukraine war, the continuously increasing conflict in Gaza etc.

What did Xi Jinping say in the meeting of BRICS countries?

In the meeting held between BRICS countries during the conference, Chinese President Xi Jinping raised the issue of the Global South. Along with this, Jinping has also given a big statement regarding the long-running Russia-Ukraine war and the continuously increasing conflict in Gaza. Apart from this, he stressed on the need to deepen economic cooperation among BRICS countries and said, “The need to improve the international financial architecture is becoming even more urgent.”

Called for ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza

During this, Xi Jinping talked about putting an end to the long-running war and said that everyone should insist on reducing the ongoing conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible and not expanding the battlefield further.

At the same time, President Xi Jinping has also called for ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon. Emphasizing on the ceasefire, Jinping said that the world has now entered a new period of turbulent change. In this we need to create BRICS in a peaceful manner. For this, BRICS countries need to deepen economic cooperation. We need to raise the voice of the countries of the Global South loudly.

Apart from Chinese President Xi Jinping, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, other BRICS group leaders have had in-depth discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the Ukraine war. During this time it was said that BRICS group includes 45 percent of the world’s population and 35 percent of the economy.
