Peru Football Match Incident: One player died tragically and several others were injured due to lightning during a football match in Peru. This accident happened on November 3 when a match was being played between Juventud Bellavista and Familia Chocca at the Coto-Coto Stadium in Silca. The players were leaving the field at the time of lightning as the game was temporarily stopped. 39-year-old player Jose Hugo de la Cruz Meza was directly hit by lightning and died on the spot.

His body was later found at Daniel A. Sent to Carrion Hospital. Apart from this, the remaining four players were taken to nearby medical centers for treatment.
