Asaduddin Owaisi Exclusive: Politics is at its peak over the violence over the survey of Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. The round of allegations and counter allegations also continues. Regarding this, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi had a special conversation with ABP News. He also answered the question regarding BJP’s B team.
On the allegations made by BJP’s B team, Asaduddin Owaisi said, “Do one thing, shoot Asaduddin Owaisi at the middle of the intersection, I am ready to die. Beat it by saying that after his death, 40 Muslim MPs will win in the Parliament of India. No mosque or shrine will be touched. No café will be shot. If you are not able to defeat BJP then you blame me.”
What did Owaisi say about the Constitution?
He said, “In the Constitution that Baba Saheb Ambedkar had made, in the Preamble that we have made, we have talked about freedom, brotherhood and justice, but today all these are not even visible. While making the Constitution, Baba Saheb talked about liberty and today if you keep liberty then you are called a traitor. Talking about justice, it is said that you are against a community. Talking about brotherhood, it is said that if we are united then we are safe or if we are divided then we will be destroyed.”
Questions raised on Sambhal’s survey
AIMIM Chief further said, “A petition is filed regarding Jama Masjid of Sambhal in a single day and a survey is ordered in the same day. The survey is done within one and a half hours of receiving the copy of the order. We have been making the same effort for 75 years to strengthen people’s faith in the justice of the country. Now when such decisions come, they are trying to shake that confidence.”
He said, “Nobody is saying that we do not trust the court’s decision, but our objection is that we are jealous of milk and drink buttermilk too. Babri Masjid was sealed in a similar manner in 1948. The daily prayers there were stopped and worship of the priests was started. I lost my mosque. “Then we all know what happened on December 6.”
