‘India has shown its status to Bangladesh, Pakistan is somewhere in ICC…’, said Pak expert on IPL auction

On non-inclusion of Bangladeshi players in the IPL auction, Pakistan expert Qamar Cheema has said that India has taught a lesson to the Muhammad Yunus government. He said that India has taught a lesson to the Bangladesh government that they can boycott Bangladesh whenever they want and expel them whenever they want and the Indian government will decide whether Bangladeshi players want to play or not.

Qamar Cheema said that he said, ‘Go back a few years. A few years ago, Pakistani players were stopped in the IPL, why, can’t Pakistani players play well, are they not good batsmen or good bowlers, don’t they field well, are they not named in the global rankings, what is the reason? Is?’

Qamar Cheema also expressed concern that it may be difficult for Pakistan after assuming the post of President of the International Cricket Board. He said that things are not clear from India’s side regarding Pakistan and India will decide the fate of Pakistan tomorrow. He said that it is also heard that India is saying to impose pressure on Pakistan and say that if you do not follow the hybrid model then you will lose all the rights to host the Champions Trophy.

Qamar Cheema said that India has taken cricket and its team to such a level that the Prime Minister of Australia has met the Indian team. Qamar Cheema said, ‘At present India has three countries, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Canada, for which India can say that the environment there is not good. India says that there are terrorism, extremism and militants in these countries. India says there are Khalistani terrorists in Canada. He said that if he had been the President of Pakistan Cricket Board, he would have taken a stand for Pakistan and made things right and just as Pakistani players go to play in other countries, he would have invited players from other countries too.

He said that if he had been the President, he would have said that the national interest of Pakistan is that Pakistan is equal to other countries. If Pakistan’s cricket team can go to India then Indian cricket team should also come to Pakistan. He said that as PCB Chairman, he says that if Pakistan cricket team can go to Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, why can’t they come. As far as security is concerned, it is our responsibility to provide security. Have given before and will give in future too.
