He said “We saw it in his first term. He was criticized a lot for it, but it brought peace around the world. He is willing to talk to anyone. He will always put America’s interest first.” However, Levitt did not say whether the Chinese president had accepted the invitation. The White House preferred not to comment on the invitation.

Trump will decide the guests for the swearing in ceremony

White House John Kirby told reporters, “It will be up to President Trump to decide who will sit with him at the inauguration, who will be there. We have worked really hard on this, the most important thing in the bilateral relationship. The President Met Xi Jinping several times, including the recent one. And as you get ready to hand things over to the Trump team, we are handing over US-China relations to a better position than they were in. It doesn’t mean we found it. That there are no differences between us.”

This relationship is full of opportunities and dangers

Kirby said “We do and we will and I’m sure they will too, but we’re working hard on this relationship and we’ll make it to the end.” In response to a question, Kirby said it was not his job to adjudicate on inauguration invitations. “This is really for the Trump team. The United States undoubtedly has the most important bilateral relationship in the world. And it is a relationship that is fraught with both danger and opportunity.”

Will give Trump complete information about Biden’s work

Kirby said, “As we prepare to hand over the Trump team, we will make sure they are fully informed about all the work President Biden has done, and the great things he has done to make this relationship more stable.” Have done something and it will depend on them how and to what extent they want to take it forward.”

Is this an alarm bell for India?

Trump had recently said that if BRICS countries use any other currency for international transactions, then new restrictions will be imposed on them and 100 percent tariff will be imposed. However, now he has invited the Chinese President to attend the swearing-in ceremony, but till now the Indian Prime Minister has not been invited to attend the event. If Trump increases friendship with China and sidelines India, it will present new challenges for India. (Input- PTI)
