In ancient times, this technology used to be an old water harvesting technique in sandy areas. Which can be used to save agriculture which is in danger due to water crisis spread across the world today and can solve many problems simultaneously.

Israeli researchers have discovered this old technology. This technology was used when a country like Israel did not exist. Because this technology was used between 9th to 12th century.

This research has been done by researchers from Bar-Ilan University of Rahmat Gan and Israel Antiquities Authority of Jerusalem. In this research, experts from the Atlantic coasts of Iran, Gaza, Egypt, Algeria and Iberia have worked on techniques to save water and improve the soil for farming on Israel’s Mediterranean coast.

Will we be able to solve the problems of today’s water crisis?

Researchers have suggested that such beneficial technology can be used to face the increasing challenges of water scarcity and food in today’s dry and marginal areas.
