Sitamarhi: SSB alert on the border regarding Republic Day, even a bird cannot kill it.

There is excitement among people about Republic Day on 26 January. Everyone is excited to celebrate this historic and proud occasion for the country. Programs are being prepared in government and private institutions. Preparations for Republic Day are almost complete in schools and colleges and other institutions. The SSB deployed on the border is also fully alert regarding the 77th Republic Day. In Sitamarhi, SSB took out a ‘Tricolor Rally’ with the help of common people in the border area on Sunday (January 25).

SSB security tightened on the border

It is noteworthy that the Indian Constitution was implemented in the country on 26 January in the year 1949. Since then the flag is hoisted on this historical occasion. Sitamarhi district is adjacent to the Indo-Nepal border. In this context, the sensitivity of the border increases on the occasion of festivals like Republic Day. The soldiers deployed there always remain alert to ensure that no wrong activity takes place on the border, but on Republic Day, SSB soldiers have increased special vigil on the border to defeat those with nefarious designs.

Even a bird cannot kill on the Indo-Nepal border!

Border security has been tightened significantly on the Indo-Nepal border. Nepal border from Sitamarhi district is about 55 km long. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has been deployed by the Government of India to protect the border and stop the movement of contraband along with illegal activities. These soldiers stay at the border 24 hours and keep an eye on every activity with their sharp eyes and available resources. The security and vigilance on the border is such that even a bird cannot hit it.

Intensive search operation of SSB on the border

In view of Republic Day, intensive searching of people and vehicles is being done on the border. Suspicious activities are being monitored with the help of dog squad. Sensitive areas are being continuously monitored by security personnel through CCTV cameras. SSB jawans are also patrolling the border on foot and in vehicles, so that any undesirable incident can be prevented. In this series, SSB jawans took out a tricolor rally in the border areas with the help of local people. During the rally, the entire area was echoing with slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and patriotism.
