Two Ugandan women arrested in Vakola, Mumbai, know what is the whole matter?

Two Ugandan women have been detained in a joint action by police and Anti-Terrorism Cell (ATC) in Vakola area of ​​Mumbai. The arrested women have been identified as Nakayondo Rose (37) and Kemigisa Proskovia (26).

According to police sources, both these women were living in Kalina area of ​​Mumbai for the last few years, but they did not have valid visa or necessary documents to stay. After getting information that he was living in India without legal permission for a long time, the police had specially planned a targeted raid.

Both women were arrested during the raid
During the raid, both were detained and during interrogation it was revealed that they were living in India even after the expiry of the stipulated period. In this case, the police has started action under the Foreign Nationals Act.

Process to send both women on deportation started: Official
Officials say that the process of deportation (sending them out of the country) has now been started against both the women. For this, the concerned departments and embassy are being contacted. After sending the information to the FRO, further action is being taken.

Action was taken in the case related to ISIS in the beginning of the month
Earlier, in another case, in the initial week of March, Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) had conducted major raids at three locations in Mumbai in a case related to the alleged online propaganda of banned terrorist organization ISIS. This action started late in the evening and continued till late night. During the raid, many electronic devices including mobile phones, laptops were seized and many people were interrogated.
