Muslim artists will perform in Sankatmochan temple of Varanasi, will praise with classical music

Varanasi Sankat Mochan Music Festival: Although for the music world, the name of Banaras Gharana is enough to introduce Kashi to the whole world, but many such events also take place in this ancient city which are heard and seen with the same enthusiasm even in today’s fast-paced and busy routine.

This year too, a music festival will be organized at Shri Sankat Mochan Temple, one of the ancient religious places of Varanasi, in which veteran artists of the country will pay their respects at the feet of Hanuman ji by performing in his court. This prestigious event has special recognition in the country and abroad for its cultural diversity and spiritual atmosphere.

6 day music festival organized at Sankat Mochan Temple, Varanasi

Mahant of Sankat Mochan Temple Prof. Giving information to ABP News, Vishambharnath Mishra said that after Hanuman Jayanti, a 6-day music festival will be organized at Sankat Mochan Temple from 6th April to 11th April. During this period, eight programs of traditional and cultural music have been scheduled on all days except 2 days. A total of 47 programs will be presented. There are 21 artists who will present their genre for the first time, 11 Padma Award winning artists will present their programs. This time we are providing more opportunities to new artists.

Muslim artists will also reach Hanuman ji’s court

While giving information, Mahant said that music and art cannot be linked to any religion or caste. This time there will be about half a dozen Muslim artists who will perform at the Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh. Apart from this, people of all sections including Hindus and Punjabis will participate in it. This event will be organized in the Sankat Mochan Temple premises only.
