But if in the middle of their studies, they come to know that the university in which they are studying is fake and their degree or studies have no value, then it can be like a nightmare for them, which is enough to cloud their future.

Such situations are often seen around us and this incident can happen to you or anyone in your family. Let us know how to identify these fake universities, so that you too remain safe from this fraud.

Why is the number of fake universities increasing?

Every year lakhs of children apply for admission in universities. The number of good universities is very less compared to the demand and taking advantage of this, many fake institutions carry out this fraud. For this, they create websites that look like the real thing, fake student testimonials, publicity and claims of getting recognition, so that more and more children can be made victims.

Must check recognition from UGC
Every recognized university in India is required to obtain approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC). In such a situation, if you are going to take admission in a private university, then keep some things in mind-

Check the website and the information given on it

The website of a genuine university has its full address, phone number and email. Information about course and faculty is also clear. In such a situation, be alert if
