Ngidi’s head hit the ground while taking a catch in the match against Punjab Kings, after which he was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The good news is that Ngidi’s health is good and he will be released from the hospital very soon.

The Delhi Traffic Police team showed speed and intelligence and cleared the way for the ambulance amidst heavy traffic.

The latest update is that Lungi Ngidi’s health is good and he will soon be discharged from the hospital. However, it is not yet clear whether Ngidi will be available to play the next match or not. Delhi Capitals’ next match will be with Royal Challengers Bangalore on 27 April. In place of Ngidi, Vipraj Nigam came to field as a concussion substitute.

Talking about the match, Delhi Capitals had scored 264 runs while batting first. In reply, thanks to the stormy half-centuries of Shreyas Iyer and Prabhsimran Singh, Punjab Kings achieved the target of 265 runs and created the record of the biggest successful run chase in IPL.
