West Bengal Board 10th result released, students can check result here immediately


WBBSE Madhyamik 10th Result 2026 @wbresults.nic.in: West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has finally declared the results of class 10th, Secondary Examination 2026. Today was a very special day for lakhs of students and their families who were waiting for the results for a long time. The board announced the result through a press conference at 9:30 am, while the online result link for students was activated at 10:30 am. Students can check their results on the official websites of the board, wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.wb.gov.in.

This year also a large number of students took part in the examination. About 9.69 lakh students had appeared in this examination which was conducted at thousands of examination centers across the state. According to the board, this time the total pass percentage has been recorded at 86.83, which is considered slightly better than last year. Last year in 2025, the pass percentage of secondary examination was 86.56, whereas this time there has been a slight improvement in the performance of the students.

How was this year’s result?

This time the secondary examination result is in discussion for many reasons. On one hand, there has been an increase in the pass percentage, on the other hand, students have also created new records by securing excellent marks. Students from many districts of the state have brought glory to their school and family by securing top ranks. According to board officials, the examination was conducted with complete transparency and strictness. The examination was conducted from 2 February to 12 February 2026. For this, 2,682 schools were made examination centers in the entire state. These included 945 main centers and 1,737 sub-centres. According to the board, this time the total pass percentage has been recorded at 86.83, which is considered slightly better than last year.

WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2026 Toppers List

Students performed brilliantly in the Secondary Examination Result 2026 of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. Abhirup Bhadra, a student of North Dinajpur, secured first position in the entire state. Abhirup Bhadra stood first in the state by scoring 698 marks (99.71 percent), while Priyatosh Mukherjee stood second with 696 marks (99.43 percent). Ankan Kumar Jana and Mainak Mondal secured their place at the third position.

How many students passed the exam?

According to the data released by the board, the students appeared in the examination were 9,69,425. Out of which the successful students were 8,14,440. With this the total pass percentage is 86.83.

How to check your result on West Bengal Board website?

  • First of all go to the official website of the board wbresults.nic.in or wbbse.wb.gov.in.
  • Click on WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2026 link on the homepage.
  • After this you will go to a new page, where you will have to enter your roll number and date of birth.
  • After entering the information, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • Your result will be displayed on your screen.
  • Download it and take a printout of it for future reference.

How to get marksheet on DigiLocker?

  • Students can also easily get their digital marksheet through DigiLocker.
  • First of all download DigiLocker app or visit the official website digilocker.gov.in.
  • If you have already created an account then login or sign up using your Aadhaar number.
  • Go to Education section and select West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
  • After this select Class 10 Marksheet and fill other information including your roll number, year.
  • Your marksheet will be saved in your DigiLocker account.

How to check result through SMS?

  • If there is a problem of internet connectivity, students can also get their results through SMS.
  • Go to the message box of your mobile phone.
  • Type: WB10 Roll Number (Example: WB10 1234567)
  • Send this message to 5676750.
  • You will receive your result through SMS.

Please check this information in the mark sheet

After downloading the result, students should carefully check all the information given in their provisional mark sheet.

  • student name
  • roll number
  • Name of father/guardian
  • date of birth
  • school name
  • Marks obtained in each subject
  • total marks
  • pass/fail status

If there is any mistake in the mark sheet, students should immediately contact their school.

How many marks will you get to pass?

To pass the 10th class examination of West Bengal Board, it is mandatory for students to obtain at least 25% marks in each subject (both written and practical combined). If a student fails in one or two subjects, he will get a chance to appear in the supplementary examination, information about which will be given by the board after the result.

How to get the original mark sheet?

The marksheet obtained from the website or DigiLocker is provisional. Students will be given their original mark sheets a few days after the declaration of results by their respective schools. The board will send the marksheet to the schools, after which the students will be able to collect it by going to their schools.
